Countdown Has Begun

The clock is ticking to the start of the longest supported motorcycle expedition ever attempted.

Discover our Earth departs 21st November 2010 from Mieming, Austria and will not return until 27th July 2011. This is a truly unique and extraordinary ride in 248 days, totalling 40,000 miles across 5 continents.

There are 11 riders doing the whole 8 month expedition and another 17 riders riding one or more sections of the expedition.

With the clock ticking, hotels are being booked, bikes are being shipped, and crew members have finished final touches to routes. You can follow all the pre-departure work and follow the 8 month expedition on its very own Facebook page. There will be updates, pictures and videos to keep you fully informed with the challenges and excitement from the road.

Photographs

Should the press or media require any photographs, for general motorcycle adventure travel use within magazines, newspapers or other publications, we are able to supply high quality images to the media. We also have a huge selection of photographs relating to practical bike travelling - packing, documentation, freighting, borders etc, as well as a massive stock of bikes travelling through incredible landscapes.
