GlobeBusters Team Grows

On the 4th January a new member of the team joined GlobeBusters. Richard Millington has joined Julia and I to help with the growing number of expeditions and the demands this generates. Richard has been a biker since the age of 16 and has ridden extensively throughout Europe, into Africa, South East Asia and completed the 2009 Trans Americas with us.

Richard has previously worked for BMW (GB) Ltd and most recently was working in Jersey for Jacksons BMW, before quitting to undertake the Trans Americas. Prior to that he had a stint at Rydale BMW in Cardiff.

“I am delighted to have joined Kevin and Julia at GlobeBusters HQ. Both my partner Karen and I loved our time in Cardiff and it is great to be back in South Wales. Although with shows, events, dealer visits and expeditions I am not too sure how much time will be spent in the office”

Richard currently owns and rides a BMW R1200GSA, a Kawasaki ZX12R and a Suzuki GS1000E project, so when he is not busy in the office you will find him in the garage or in the Brecons.

Photographs

Should the press or media require any photographs, for general motorcycle adventure travel use within magazines, newspapers or other publications, we are able to supply high quality images to the media. We also have a huge selection of photographs relating to practical bike travelling - packing, documentation, freighting, borders etc, as well as a massive stock of bikes travelling through incredible landscapes.

As well as being the UK's leading endurance road rider, Kevin Sanders has represented BMW on the Long Way Round project and writes regularly for Motorcycle Sport & Leisure magazine.
