Description
Join the ultimate Northern Andes Motorcycle Adventure — a 47 day, 6,500-mile expedition riding some of South America’s best roads! From the modern metropolis of Chile’s capital city, Santiago, winding our way northwards through the Inca heartlands of the Andes Mountains to the old swashbuckling port of Cartagena on the shores of the Caribbean.
Winelands & Highlands!
Leaving Santiago, we climb over the snaking Los Libertadores Pass, crossing into Argentina, riding by South America’s highest peak, Aconcagua. We also take a break amidst the vineyards of Lujan de Cuyo and Cafayate, to taste some high altitude wines! The road takes us through dramatic landscapes of red rock formations, gorges and cliffs, twisting through cloud forests and across arid deserts with towering cacti.

Andes & Altiplano
We continue to zig-zag across the Andes, the longest mountain range in the world, reaching the landlocked country of Bolivia. Shimmering salt flats, old silver mines and witches’ markets await! Crossing Lake Titicaca we enter Peru, where some of the most incredible mountain riding and views of this trip await! There’s time to explore Cusco and visit the ancient Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu.
The Equator & The Caribbean
As we reach the northern section of South America, we cross the Equator in Ecuador, a great milestone of the journey and then our final country, Colombia! This trip will dispel the myths of Colombia – it’s a biking paradise. Jaw dropping vistas and perfect winding roads through lush tropical landscapes are the norm! Our adventure ends on the shores of the Caribbean, in the UNESCO port town of Cartagena, a perfect place to unwind and reflect your epic journey!
